Humanists may be interested in the Vitruvius Project (Computer Science,
Carnegie-Mellon, U.S.), whose goal is "to elucidate the architectural level
of abstraction [in software design] so that the collective experience of
successful architects can be captured, organized, and made available to
ordinary practioners." See
