In response to Willard's query (below), I would suggest many of the
projects in the Gallery of the Electronic Poetry Center at SUNY Buffalo
(Glazier and Bernstein are especially interesting), as well as the links
there to other sites such as UbuWeb:

Also -- with due humility -- I would suggest a project of my own, a VRML
installation entitled "Lucid Mapping and Codex Transformissions in the
Z-Buffer":

There's a great deal of experimental writing going on in various
electronic formats, much of it visual or graphical in orientation (as
the medium seems to encourage). The sites above offer only a snapshot of
this activity.
