Willard,
One does understand, but I suspect that I am not the only non-academic
who looks forward to a shot of Humanist to add something to year-round
daily work. It's remarkable how all the academic lists go listless in
the summer; perhaps we ought to discuss the research that allegedly
finds that students actually lose intellectual sharpness when they take
long vacations...
