Subject: Q: Philosophy of technology and culture
Dear Humanists,
I am forwarding you the request of a friend of mine who is
is searching for mailing lists, homepages and other source
of information (paper-based as well) on the following topic:
The effects of twentieth-century (and in particular later-twentieth
century) developments in communications technology upon culture,
education, knowledge, individual and collective thinking, and
upon social and political institutions. (Contemporary philosophical
interpretations of these developments would be most welcome.)
Please, reply to me directly. Thank you for your help in advance.
