I got my OED CD=-rom from the Asucla Bookstore with only 10% allowed off,
and that came to about 800 or 850+tax. But, it is wonderful to have! It
has the 2nd edition supplements too. Jascha Kessler

Jim,

The price on the OED is the same for us poor academics as it is for
everybody. I beta-tested it and still had to give that copy back and
pay over $700 for the legit copy I now use daily. I don't think I have
seen a price in a catalogue under about $685, but if anyone has, please
tell the list.
