Subject: The status of Nota Bene

Hi,

I'm not sure anyone has mentioned that Nota Bene has teamed up with
Oberon Resources to become "Nota Bene / Oberon" or "NBAI / Oberon" or
"Oberon / NBAI." (They still seem to be a little unsure of
themselves.) Anyway, Oberon is the publisher of Citation, a
full-blown bibliographic program for Windows. (See:
http://www.chorus.cycor.ca/Mega/m001e.html#CIT for more info.)

My opinion? Glad you asked. ;-)

Given Nota Bene's development record and the poor showing of
XYWrite for Windows, I'm not getting too excited about a "Nota Bene
for Windows." I think they would do far better to develop modules for
the major word processors rather than try to "reinvent the wheel."

Best,

Todd
