Apologies if this has already been said:
(1) NotaBene is coming out with a capability of using full
extended memory. (Thus instead of having 64 kb for huge
documents and indexing, one could conceivably now have 6400KB!).
I understand it is due out in December. This will solve one of
NB's only real problems: memory.
(2) Apparently NB has 5 people at work on a windows version.

Thank you for the various reports on NotaBene, welcome to this user who
is now obliged (mostly by the need to communicate with secretaries) to use
Word for Windows as well as the wonderful NotaBene, which has, in my opinion,
no equal as an academic Arts word-processor. Word is wonderful for pretty
notices and zippy memos, but for writing the books, no thanks: I need to
concentrate on the matter, not the manner. Design of layout, if it
is my problem at all, comes later.
