Subject: NOTABENE

I was looking forward to more contributions regarding NOTABENE, alas,
there were very few...
I am a user of Notabene. I will leave it and switch to Word as soon as I
can afford the hardware. However, I do believe its the smartest word
processor ever created for the humanistic/textual/ linguistic
disciplines. The last I ever heard about it was that somebody bought it
along with its twin sibling XYWRITE, and was going to upgrade it to
windows, merging the advantages of both. Could this be still true. Does
anybody have the latest news about the matter? I used to be on the
Notabene list, where such things used to be discussed, but since most
list members upgraded to ver. 4 + Lingua I was reading too much
irrelevant junk, and disconnected. Is there hope?
