Subject: Bibliography on Deception - 2 pages
[I am re-circulating the following bibliography that appeared on
DARWIN-L. Why? (1) because it is a rare find; (2) because computing and
deception are closely linked, as is suggested by the word "device"; and
(3) because, as Steiner argues in <t>After Babel</t>, deception is at the
root of human language, and what is Humanist if not a forum for
rhetorical gifts to be exercised in the service of humanities computing?
