The French National Library from
the Year 1000 to the Year 2000
at 8 P.M., Thursday, May 18, in the Meyerson Hall Amphitheater, University
of Pennsylvania, 3400 Walnut Street, Philadelphia.
Open to the public without charge, this talk is hosted jointly by the Uni-
versity of Pennsylvania Library and the French Institute for Culture and
