Subject: Query--16th c. references to Arcadia
For a project on the relationship between literature and geography, I'd
appreciate hearing from anyone who has run across references to Arcadia,
the Greek province not Sidney's or Sannazaro's romance, in 16th c. texts.
Thanks for your help.

A colleague of mine has tried unsuccessfully to identify two
types of fishes, the latin names of which are
LUTIANIDAE and PRISTIPOMOIDES ZONATUS.
I told him that there might be some HUMANIST or other with a
well-populated fish tank...
Thanks for any info.
