Subject: Job in Hebrew Language, Civilization, Literature

The Department of Comparative Literature at Penn State University
(in central Pennsylvania) seeks a one-year replacement instructor
to teach Hebrew language and civilization, possibly also
literature (degree in literature is an advantage). This is a
full-time but fixed-term (temporary) position for one year,
starting August 1992. We will consider advance graduate students
as well as faculty with Ph.D. Given the shortness of time we hope
to make the appointment as soon as an appropriate candidate is
identified. If interested, send a letter and C.V. to Caroline D.
Eckhardt by FAX (814 865-36-41), or e-mail (E82@psuvm.psu.edu.),
or else phone 814 863-0589.
