Greetings:
I am presently working on a HYPERTEXT address book for online scholars of
religion. I have worked out the following template, and was wondering if you
would post it on the list:
(2) --------------------------------------------------------------------
In response to repeated suggestions concerning the development
of effective "networking tools", "DOORS"- a hypertext electronic
"address-book" for scholars of religion, is now registering
addresses of on-line scholars of religion.
HYPERTEXT "DOORS" is very easy to use and includes multi-level
search capabilities which will facilitate specific, relevant, and
scholarly networking. The attached template reflects the search
options. IF YOU ARE INVOLVED IN THE SCHOLARLY STUDY OF RELIGION - it
will be to your benefit to fill in the DOORS registration form.
DOORS, which will be freely available, is created for a specific
scholarly community, and will require cooperation from the members of
the community. As such, we would hope that scholars of religion overcome
the traditional reluctance connected with the filling out of e-mail
templates. The potential usefulness of such an addressing system is
significant-but entirely dependent on a collective effort. Participation
is crucial, coveted, and highly appreciated.
Thank-you for your cooperation:

* Any inquiries regarding DOORS are welcome. Please post them directly
to the Project Coordinator.
