Subject: Victorians Institute Conference
The 1992 Meeting of the Victorians Institute will be held 2-3 October at
the College of Charleston, Charleston, SC. The Institute is a friendly
gathering of Victorianists; the annual meeting features a plenary
session on a selected topic, with a keynote address by an eminent
scholar. The Institute also publishes the "Victorians Institute
Journal."
The 1992 topic will be "TENNYSON 2000: Rethinking and
Reappraisal." Papers employing new critical theory, interdisciplinary
approaches, and comparative literature treatments will receive special
attention. Papers should be submitted by July 1st, 1992. Address
