The Department of English at Glendon College invites applications for a
tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Preference
will be given to applicants with a Ph.D. in linguistics with
demonstrated superiority in teaching and strong scholarly interest in
socio-cognitive and discoursal aspects of language. Duties will include
teaching at the undergraduate level with possible future participation
in graduate teaching; research; and service to the University. Salary
is determined in accordance with the current collective agreement and
experience. The effective date of appointment is July 1, 1991. Send
