Here's a question then. When you are drawing the line at blatant
commercialism, how do you deal with something which is ostensibly free,
but which is being funded through standard commercial ways (advertising,
direct corporate support, etc) and is completely made possible because
of those fundings? I don't have a good electronic example, but what of
the magazines that run on advertisements alone, such as Academic
Computing or MacWEEK or PC WEEK, etc? I see arguments both ways.
