Could I invite the philosophically inclined amongst HUMANISTS (a class
wider than the class of professional philosophers) to write on the
problem of invented - and patented - life-forms? Between 3000 and 6000
words, please. The best - assuming a reasonable general standard (!) -
will be published in JOURNAL OF APPLIED PHILOSOPHY, of which I am
incoming editor. You can send versions to me at AP01@UK.AC.LIVERPOOL.IBM,
though I'd prefer the final copy to be typescript.
