About the way laser printing fees are handled: at the University of Texas at
Austin, the Computation Center offers Individually Funded (IF) accounts for
its laser printing services: you put your money down first (a minimum of $5),
then you're given an account number which is automatically billed every time
you log on to the system (via modem, or at a computer or terminal in a
Computation Center fcility)-- the rate is $.08/page (including one cover sheet
for each job).
