Subject: MLA online bibliography
In his message about MLA activities, Daniel Uchitelle<MLAOD@CUVMB>
does not state the price of the tape of the MLA bibliography, $6500
for the first so many terminals for a ONE YEAR LICENSE! Wasn't the
compilation of the bibliography since 1981 already paid for by members
and subscribers to the now-obsolete annual hard copies? An online
union bibliography is a better value, but it is much cheaper to
produce. So why the high price? Will dues be reduced accordingly?
