Subject: Composition Instruction
The long answer to Jody Gilbert('s friend)'s question will not be given
here: too much software, too little time.
The short answer is get together with the people who know about
Computer Aided Composition Instruction, namely the "5th C" group of
CCCC (say "four cee's"). The Conference on College Composition and
Communication (CCCC) is part of NCTE (National Council of Teachers of
English), meets annually and has a special interest group about computers
(the 5th C). CCCC will be held this year in Seattle, March 16-18.
(yes, next week) The 5th C publishes a hardcopy newsletter.
