Further to confuse matters I have now rediscovered a document Sebastian drafted some time ago (in March I believe) which outlines the production line then in force for maintaining P5. This document is now online at http://www.tei-c.org/Drafts/edw91.xml It needs to be updated in light of the recent discussions about the release tree for P5, but I thought it would be helpful to put its current state up somewhere safer than my laptop. This means we currently have three somewhat overlapping "how to" documents: -- edw91 : how we currently build P5 -- tcw06 : details on the makefile (James#' doc) -- edw88 : how the punter is expected to use P5 The distinction between the last of these and the others is clear enough, but I wonder whether it might not be simpler to roll the second into the first? At present tcw06 is in P5 rather than P4 and therefore illegible on the web. As I assume James is still revising it, I havent changed that, but it should be done!
